Welcome to NoorDhikr: Daily Dhikr & Dua ("we," "our," or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application handles information when you use our services. By installing and using NoorDhikr, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

NoorDhikr operates offline-first. We do not collect or store any of the following personal data:

• No user accounts, emails, passwords, or usernames.
• No phone numbers, physical addresses, or financial data.
• No location tracking (GPS) or biometric information.
• No microphone or camera recordings.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a fluid and customized experience, certain non-identifiable preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard sandbox storage (UserDefaults):

• Language Selection: Your chosen interface and translation language (English, Arabic, Bengali, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, French).
• Dhikr & Tasbih Counts: Your cumulative counts, streak statistics, and target cycles.
• Haptic & Audio Preferences: Vibration feedback and counter sound toggle settings.

This data never leaves your device and is automatically erased if you uninstall the application.

4. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

To maintain NoorDhikr as a free application available to Muslims worldwide, we integrate Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob may automatically collect certain diagnostic and device-related information in compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) guidelines:

• Device Identifiers: Non-personally identifiable advertising identifiers (such as Apple IDFA, subject to your explicit permission), IP address (for general country-level geographic routing), and device hardware model.
• Ad Interaction Data: Impressions and engagement metrics to prevent repetitive ads and ensure family-friendly ad delivery.

We enforce strict ad-filtering categories within Google AdMob to block inappropriate content, including alcohol, gambling, dating, explicit media, and predatory financial products.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

NoorDhikr does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The application is rated 4+ and is safe for individuals of all ages to learn and recite authentic Quranic and Prophetic supplications.

6. Security of Your Information

Because your dhikr history and preferences reside strictly within your iOS device's encrypted sandbox, your data is as secure as your iPhone itself. We do not operate remote databases that could be vulnerable to unauthorized access.

7. Your Choices and Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under regulations such as GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California):

• Advertising Tracking: You have full control over ad tracking via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can disable tracking at any time without losing any app features.
• Data Deletion: You can completely erase all local counts and history at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
